Marion Enterprise, August 4, 1922:
Principal Frank E. DeGelleke is building a residence at Sea Cliff, Long Island, where he has been located for a long time. Owing to this the DeGelleke family are not spending the summer vacation in Williamson, their former home. Frank DeGelleke graduated from Marion Collegiate Institue in 1894, and later from Rochester University. He is particulary succesful in his vacation, having done all of his high school teaching on Long Island, and having taken special work at Columbia University for a time.

Newark-union gazette, september 3, 1910:
Professor and Mrs. Frank DeGelleke of Sea Cliff N.Y. were guests Thursday and yesterday of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Croucher. Prof. De Gelleke is an old Williamson boy, a graduate othe the Marion Collegiate Institute, and was a class mate and fraternity brother of the writer at the University of Rochester. Mrs. De Gelleke is a relative of Mrs. Croucher.

Gertrude Berray, geb. te Colesville, Broome Co, NY 8 feb 1909, ovl. te Cape Coral, Lee Co, FL 13 jun 2002, CAPE CORAL, Fla. Gertrude Berray DeGelleke, 93, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2002, in Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, Fla. She was born Feb. 8, 1909, in Sanitaria Springs, N.Y.
She graduated from Good Shepard School of Nursing, Syracuse University.
She lived many years in Delhi, N.Y., was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and active in community affairs. Upon her husband's retirement, she moved to Englewood, Fla., and after her husband's death, to Cape Coral, Fla.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan D. Lach (Mrs. Borys Lach); grandchildren, Janet Tindall, Tamara Howard and Michael Lach; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, John B. DeGelleke; and her husband, Ralph R. DeGelleke, retired principal at Delaware Academy.
Memorial service was held in Cape Coral. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Williamson, N.Y.
