1930: 3877 Kirkwood Road, Cleveland Heights, OH - daughter, Elizabeth Smiths home.
1934-1937: He was the custodian at Noble Road Presbyterian Church, which was located across the street from this home.
Abraham was a handsome man with white hair and sparkling blue eyes. He was a leader in the Dutch Community of Cleveland, and very active in the Dutch Reformed Church.
He died at the Kirkwood Rd address.

Colonial Funeral Home, 15408 Triskett Rd. near Lorain Ave., After 1 P. M. Saturday, where services will be held Monday, May 10, at 2 p. m. Interment Knollwood Cemetery.
Except for having Pneumonia in the 1940's (before antibiotics were available), she had excellent health and maintained a perfect attendance record for Sunday School and church at Calvary Reformed Church, Bridge Ave., & West 65th St., Cleveland, OHand later at Riverside Community Church, Rocky River Drive, Cleveland, OH until the day she died.
She died from a stroke while she was getting dressed to attend a Mother & Daughter Banquet at Riverside Church. Her granddaughter, Arleen Lois Smith had talked to her five minutes before she found her dead - sitting in her rocking chair in her bedroom with her shoes neatly placed before her on the floor.
She was terribly deaf in her later years and wore a hearing aid. She was a gentle, soft spoken, deeply religious woman whom everyone liked very much. She always had a smile on her face.
